About Me
I’d like students to know that I have a great sense of humor and that I’m a very patient and approachable person. I want them to feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions, and having fun while they learn!
Education
I graduated from Hunter College in 2022 with a degree in Psychology. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling at New York University, with an anticipated graduation date of 2027.
Teaching Experience
Yes. I have formal teaching and tutoring experience, including tutoring high school students with special education needs through the CUNY Tutor Corps, tutoring students at JEI Learning Center, and working as a Teacher Assistant with preschool students with learning disabilities at Block Institute. I also worked as a camp counselor at Kings Bay YM-YWHA, supporting children through activities and daily programming.
Interests
When I’m not working or tutoring, I enjoy hanging out with friends, going out to eat, exploring new places, and trying new and adventurous things.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
