About Me
I am a poet, dancer, and multidisciplinary artist currently based in New York. I enjoy supporting myself by offering my services as a tutor. I truly like connecting with the other parts of me that remain very knowledgeable in the areas of english and math. It brings me great joy to be able to have a part of my day be filled with hours spent helping students feel more confident, secure, and better informed in the work and material they are seeking help in and currently learning in school.
Education
I attended the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at NYU and graduated with a B.A. in 2015. I then went on to attend the European Graduate School from 2017-2019 and graduated with an M.A. My master's thesis is focused in the disciplines of continental philosophy, german studies and literature, poetics, and psychoanalytic scholarship.
Teaching Experience
I do not yet have formal tutoring experience, but have worked in the capacity of tutor in the past in verbal and quantitative subjects. I also work well with students and as advisor in poetry workshop sessions, especially when it comes to giving constructive advice, critique, and recommendations.
Interests
I love biking, going on long walks, taking the occasion trip out-of-town and going on hikes. I also enjoy reading for my own pleasure as well as for research, writing, going to shows, poetry readings, and enjoying my time free-time with friends, colleagues. I also enjoy doing creative activities with pals like impromptu photo-shoots and just creating things like collages and short films.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
