About Me
I’m a writer and animal lover as well as an experienced tutor in several subjects. I have had great success with students of many levels, because I tailor my lessons to fit the student. I believe that the best way to learn is to lean into your creativity and interests.
Education
I graduated from Arcadia University in 2019 with a BA in English and received my Masters degree in Writing in 2022 from the University of Southern Maine.
Teaching Experience
After college, I spent a year with Americorps in a fifth grade classroom. My aim was to help students raise their performance in Math and English as well as address behavioral problems. After this, I became a tutor in Westfield, New Jersey, where I worked with students aged 7-18 for over a year. I absolutely love teaching and building lasting relationships with my students.
Interests
I am an aspiring novelist, so I do a lot of writing in my spare time. I also love hiking with my dog and riding my bike.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
