About Me
I am a PhD student at NC State and I'm passionate about teaching students about science. When I'm not working in the lab or teaching, I love to try new restaurants or hang out with my cat, Cheeto.
Education
I received my B.S. in Biology from the University of North Georgia in 2016 and my M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Mercer University in 2018. I am currently a Toxicology PhD student at North Carolina State University and am expected to graduate in 2022.
Teaching Experience
I have done a lot of small group (one to two students) tutoring in research labs. I also worked as a T.A. in lower level biology courses while I was in college and am currently helping lecture in an upper level Environmental Toxicology course.
Interests
In my spare time, I love to travel and try new restaurants and breweries. I also enjoy being outside, reading, crafting, and cuddling with my cat, Cheeto.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
