About Me
I am a family doctor who loves teaching.
Education
I was graduated from Indiana University Kokomo in 2016 with a B.S. in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. I was graduated from Midwestern University in 2020 as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
Teaching Experience
I coached high school track and field from 2010 to 2016. I tutored physics for Indiana University Kokomo in 2012 and 2013. I worked as Chief Scribe for Scribe America in 2015, and this job included teaching and testing new hires about medical terminology and disease processes. During my medical residency (2020-2023), I taught and tutored medical students and/or junior physicians on a near-daily basis. I was Chief Resident in my final year, which meant I was responsible for training and supervising all other residents. I also completed a "faculty teaching" rotation in which I taught medical students and junior physicians on a 30-minute topic every weekday for a month.
Interests
When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking, running, riding my bike, lifting weights, reading, writing, playing guitar, gardening, and cooking.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
