About Me
My name is Tom. I'm 26 years old and from Maryland. I'm a Graduate Student studying Applied Politics at Suffolk University. I have an absolute passion for tutoring students in History and Political Science. I also enjoy traveling, visiting museums, and serving the community to make it a better place for all who call it home.
Education
I am currently a Graduate student at Suffolk University in Boston studying Applied Politics. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. I also completed coursework toward an A.A. degree in Secondary Education at Wor-Wic Community College.
Teaching Experience
I do not have formal teaching experience but I have completed academic coursework that was geared toward a degree in Education. Additionally, I have completed two classroom internships totaling 60 hours. I do have 1 year of informal tutoring experience from when I was employed by Oak Ridge Church in Salisbury, Md. to act as a tutor assisting Elementary school children with their homework.
Interests
I enjoy traveling most of all when not teaching because I believe it enriches the mind. Travel is quite an expensive interest so normally I enjoy visiting art galleries and museums. I also enjoy serving my community as well, in my off hours because I feel it is my duty as a citizen to help make the community a better place for all who live in it.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
