About Me
Hi! My name is Luisa and I am currently a computer engineering student with a mechanical engineering background. My goal is to spark your interest in STEM and hopefully inspire as many of you to pursue a career in STEM! We need more girls to represent.
Education
I attended LaGuardia Community College from 2013-2015 and graduated with an Associate in Mechanical Engineering. I attended UNLV from 2019-2020 and attempted to get my Bachelor in computer engineering. I relocated to Florida and am currently in the process of transferring to FIU to complete my Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering.
Teaching Experience
I am a STEM Educator on contract for iFly, ModernClass, Code-A-Robot. I also do private math tutoring for any level math.
Interests
I try to grow my STEM organization through social media. I try to put out material that empowers other STEM educators, parents and kids who are interested in pursuing STEM but might not know where to start. I am also an avid learner and enjoy reading as well as watching education videos on my spare time. I am also very physically active.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
