About Me
I would like the student to know that I am here to help them in which ever best way that I can. Whatever challenge comes at hand we will tackle it together. I will be there with them through each step and want to make sure they are getting what they need.
Education
I have my High School diploma from Gorton High School in Yonkers New York. I graduated with my associates in Human Services from Westchester Community college. I also attended my undergrad at Lehman College in The Bronx New York with a focus in Psychology and Black Studies
Teaching Experience
While I was pursuing my Associates , I interned at several Elementary schools as a teachers aide helping run classrooms , assist with homework and daily assignments as well as prepare the classroom for activities and supervision. I worked for a company called Cognitutor for a year - during my time there, I had the pleasure of working with students in social services. So adoption youth , foster care , independent living , and juvenile students. I worked with students fro grades K-12 and even assisted students in pursuing their GED.
Interests
I really enjoy cooking and taking care of my home. I love trying out new recipes and getting creative in the kitchen. I also really love the arts - during my down time I like to paint and create portraits and I am also a singer and really enjoy music.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
