My first degree was an Associate Degree in Arts, received from William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, Illinois in 2006. I was a Student Senator there, and received the student service award as the student committee member for the university. Half of my tuition for school was covered by this scholarship. My graduating GPA was 3.6. I was also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I moved on to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at Northern Illinois University, where I made the Dean's List several times and graduated with a 3.6 GPA yet again. I was also a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society for Economics. I continued into a graduate program at Northern Illinois University once more, this time working toward a Master of Public Administration, with a focus in Urban Management. The program was ranked 3rd in the nation by US News and World Report in 2022. I graduated with a grade point average of 3.5 in 2012. I also was a member of the ICMA (International City/ County Manager's Association), and the ILCMA (Illinois City Manager's Association), and was nominated for Intern of the Year by DeKalb County Government in 2012. My final, and most relevant degree was issued in 2018 by Fordham University, and it was a Master of Science in Teaching, with a focus of Elementary Education. My final grade point average was 3.97 on a 4.0 scale.

I have 10 years of teaching experience in both large and small group settings, mainly in mathematics at charter and private schools. I have also worked for several providers of title 1 services which is a small group tutoring environment.

I am on the cusp of being a pro bodybuilder in the classic physique category, I have two small business sponsors and one private sponsor. I am in the gym frequently because I also am a personal trainer. I can sing as well, both in local bands and occasionally at karaoke night. I am happily married, so a lot of dates, and when I am not doing any of those things I am taking my Schnauzer, Boston, on walks. I am also about 70 percent fluent in Spanish and am working toward 100 percent.
